I play my Taylor 811e guitar at church and the Taylor 800 Series Element capo matches the inlays on my fretboard perfectly. The best thing about this capo is that when I move it to another fret position, it doesn't cause the guitar to go sharp! I also have the Cross Truss Rod cover and the strap with the Cross inlay for this guitar which are awesome!
I had had my eyes on Thalia capos for some time, so when i got a new guitar it seemed like a good time to try one out. The capo is not only beautiful and well-made, it really does do a better job of clamping the strings than other capos I've tried.
Top capo’s !! great tone, so easy to use , beautifully made and fantastically good looking .. happy days !!
This capo works exceptionally well with my Rainsong Jumbo Baritone after ordering the 20” Radius Specialty Tuning Kit! The Blue Abalone Inlay really compliments the Abalone shark inlays and rosette on the guitar as well. Quality is apparent, as the weight, fit, and finish tells me that this will last for many years.
I liked this so much, I ordered another capo (Pearl Dragon Scales) along with several Pick Pucks to use on my other guitars as well. The ability to easily change out the fret pads to accept different neck radii is really convenient when you have several different brands of guitars to deal with. The right amount of clamping pressure by matching the radius is allowing for very good intonation. With my other capos, I often end up with sharp or dead notes because the pad doesn’t match the curve of the neck.
I am glad I made this purchase and will probably do so again in the not too distant future!
Very very nice indeed and is so very accurate with the correct radius inserts my new Acoustisonic stratecaster with the capo sounds amazing and no returning is needed with this capo very well made its a good solid product I do recommend this capo you will be very happy with it 10 stars
To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer. If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here
Please Note: 12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance. Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo. Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
